Paul's first feature film, 'Second-Hand Wedding' debuted last year and already is the sixth highest-ever grossing NZ feature. He had half the country chuckling. Paul is from a family of filmmakers that has produced 5 directors in total. He has worked for 26 years in the industry from the early days as a production runner through Art dept, Lighting, AD's and for the last 15 years as a Key Grip culminating on projects like LOTR and King Kong. Stepping out as a director in 2004-5, he has directed TVCs, a Childrens TV series, and numerous episodes of 'Sensing Murder'. Paul has shot campaigns for The NZ Herald for DraftFCB, Carters for VA, Ribena for Grey Advertising, Healtheries for DDB and St Johns for Work Communications. Paul comes equipped, with strong technical knowledge, a passion for performance and an eye for the classic and the comical. These assets combined with his enthusiasm and positive outlook, helps to make every shoot an efficient, enjoyable experience. He's back in the tvc market and promises that he will not bring you anything second-hand! |
